  • Early 80's, a group began worshipping at Hampton Funeral Home on January 10, 1982 with 46 people.
  • Retired Methodist pastor Rev. Joseph McShane led worship.
  • Continued worship at Hampton Funeral Home with overflowing crowds.
  • Desire to connect with a denomination and end of Rev. McShane's duties began July 1982.
  • December 5, 1982 voted to seek affiliation with Reformed Church in America (r.c.a.)
  • They were received as a new RCA congregation May 1, 1983 with 124 members.
  • 1985 ground breaking ceremony for existing sanctuary was held.
  • Congregation dedicated their new sanctuary to the Lord September 21, 1986.
  • May 24, 1992 ground breaking ceremony was held for the McShane Building.
  • September 2008 Rev. David Ellis family moved from Waukesha, WI to Prescott to become Senior Pastor.
  • January 2010 a 3 year vision was adopted by the congregation.
  • July 1 2010 a new organizational structure for ministry was authorized by the Consistory.
